Acnes



Acne is a common skin condition among male teenagers around age 16 to 19 whilst females peak acne years are somewhere between 14 to 17.  Acnes may occur in the twenties or even at a later age.
Acne is being trigger can be due to hormones imbalance, illness, medications, lifestyle, exposure to external irritants, occlusion or pressure on the skin and improper use of product. It can present more of itself when one is at stress or seasonal changes or hormone cycles.

Salicylic acid is listed in the Acne monograph in concentrations of 0.5 to 2 percent. Salicylic acid can penetrate into the follicle and dislodge the comedonal plug from the follicular lining. Salicylic acid provides exfoliation prevents pore clogging, smoothes fine lines or wrinkles; stimulates new cell growth and reduces inflammation.
